Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable department, ensuring that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and accurately. You will play a key role in the management of cash flow and the sustainability of our organization by implementing effective accounts receivable strategies. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy relationships with our customers and ensuring that outstanding payments are collected in a timely manner. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who possesses excellent analytical skills and is adept at using financial software. You will be responsible for establishing credit policies, monitoring accounts for delinquencies, and preparing reports for upper management. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of outstanding payments.
  • Monitor accounts for delinquencies and take appropriate actions to collect overdue accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and present financial KPI reports related to accounts receivable to management.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and communications with customers.
  • Improve and develop process along with related system enhancements to improve the overall efficiency of cash collection activities
  • Perform periodic audits of customer accounts to identify potential errors or fraud.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree achieved in Accounting or related field is preferred.
  • Seven years of proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role with a minimum of three years as a manager.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software such as SAP, Blackline, HFM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable processes.
