Job Description: This 10-week internship program within the Morgan Stanley Internal Audit Department offers aspiring professionals a comprehensive experience in internal audit. Summer Analysts will gain exposure to various functions across Internal Audit and coverage areas such as compliance and equities. Training Program: Internal Audit Fundamentals: Training on core audit principles and Morgan Stanley’s methodology. Senior Leadership Engagement: Opportunities to connect with senior leaders. Cross-Divisional Networking: Networking events with colleagues across teams. Peer Mentorship: Guidance from experienced professionals. Community Service: Opportunities to give back to the community. Group Project: Collaborative project with presentations to a wider audience. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop knowledge of business principles and auditing standards. Execute assurance activities such as audits and monitoring under guidance. Produce quality work aligned with team priorities, including documentation and communication of results. Learn tools and audit techniques. Contribute to messaging on risk and business impact. Collaborate across teams. Responsibilities may vary depending on coverage area. Qualifications and Skills: Graduates between December 2025 and June 2026 with less than one year of professional experience. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, finance, or related field (preferred but not mandatory). Minimum GPA of 3.0. Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Clear verbal and written communication. Ability to collaborate and adapt in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail and quality.
