Your role: Working as a member of the Global Relay Marketing team, you will meticulously review and refine all marketing and brand communications copy to ensure it is accurate, consistent, and error-free. As the Senior Editor, you will work within the Brand team and apply your passion for writing excellence to ensure our marketing copy is high-quality and consistent with brand standards. Your responsibilities: Edit and proofread copy for accuracy, ensuring that content is factually and grammatically correct Identify inconsistencies in content and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and style Fact-check information to ensure the accuracy of dates, names, statistics, etc. Develop and maintain Global Relay Writing Style Guides and other brand/copy resources Ensure all content is in accordance with relevant standards and style guidelines Collaborate with writers, designers, and other members of the marketing team on requests Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in copywriting, communications, and the industry Work independently to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality About you: 5+ years of experience in copy editing, proofreading, and related areas Meticulous attention to detail, excellent proofreading and editing skills, and a deep understanding of the English language Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience Strong proficiency in editing copy for all marketing mediums, including email, social media, paid advertising, product or technical data sheets, etc. Experience with following and enforcing writing style guides, as well as familiarity with industry-standard style guides such as AP and brand-specific style guides Strong communication and interpersonal skills with myriad teams including writers, designers, and other marketing functions Proven track record of improving content quality and consistency Compensation: Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background. The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
