Hiring a Referral Coordinator for a great health care company in Sacramento, CA!! MUST HAVE: Great customer service skills and Referral Coordinating experience - from start to finish Key Responsibilities: + Manage referral requests and communicate with providers, patients, and insurance companies. + Obtain prior authorizations and verify insurance eligibility. + Schedule specialist appointments and track referral progress. + Ensure all necessary documentation is received, including consult notes. + Maintain confidentiality and comply with relevant regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.). Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent. + 1+ years of office experience, with strong computer and communication skills. + Preferred experience with NextGen EHR/PM software and knowledge of insurance plans (Medi-Cal, Medicare, etc.). Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (one hour lunch, schedule is NOT flexible to a 30-minute lunch) Additional Information: This position is eligible to work from home after production is met (30 referrals/day) for 90 days. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
