Overview Security Management Resources is seeking highly qualified candidates for our client, a leader in the financial services industry. A focus on continual elevation of their security infrastructure has opened two opportunities for physical security professionals to join this dynamic organization. Our client has offices and data centers located throughout the Americas. Both senior positions have global responsibility for design, management, and maintenance of numerous physical security systems and technologies. Travel to corporate sites is required. The compensation packages for each of these roles are outstanding and reflect our clients industry leadership in the financial sector. Physical Security Director This position is no longer accepting applications. This leadership role has responsibility for management of an enterprise-wide physical security program. You will function as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the initiative and will ensure systems and technologies are in keeping with best practices while being leading edge. You will be a strategic mentor for the organization but will also be asked to think tactically and be as hands-on as needed. The organization is growing both nationally and internationally, and you will be responsible for scaling security programs and technologies to keep pace. Provision of leadership for security team members and management of site third party vendors are also components of the role. This is a fantastic job for someone who has sound technical experience in the management of physical security technologies and systems. An understanding of technology networks together with project management skills will set you apart. You should also be a great communicator with the ability to brief both non-technical and technical team members. Hands-on knowledge with SOC 2 physical security controls and an understanding of OSHA regulations as they relate to the corporations facilities will be valuable. Physical Security Manager This position is no longer accepting applications. This hands-on senior technician role will have responsibility for the configuration, installation, and maintenance of leading-edge physical security systems. You will ensure the seamless integration of all physical security solutions across the organizations offices and data centers. Each configuration will be site specific and will require a willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time to remote locations. Technical support and training for internal teams is also part of this portfolio as is collaborating with team members to enable successful completion of projects. This job is perfect for a security professional with sound experience of all aspects of physical security systems. You should have hands-on experience with systems from diverse vendors, and strong knowledge of low-voltage management. A problem-solving mindset and expertise in troubleshooting issues will set you apart, as will your ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
