Job Title: Pega Developer (LSA Certified)

Location: Plano, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Pega Developer with LSA (Lead System Architect) certification to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega-based solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will also play a leadership role in guiding junior developers, ensuring best practices, and ensuring the highest quality standards in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pega Application Design & Development:
    • Design, implement, and maintain Pega-based applications, including Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) systems.
    • Utilize Pega 8.x and later versions to design and implement process flows, case management, and rule-based logic.
    • Build and optimize applications using Pega's agile methodology, ensuring that all components align with business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Lead and guide junior developers and technical teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
    • Review the code developed by team members, provide constructive feedback, and ensure quality.
    • Provide technical oversight and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Pega best practices.
  • Solution Architecture:
    • Leverage advanced Pega concepts to design solutions at an enterprise level.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, system architects, and project managers to define requirements and technical solutions.
    • Provide strategic recommendations for Pega-related technologies, upgrades, and improvements to optimize system performance.
  • Customization & Integration:
    • Integrate Pega applications with other enterprise systems, databases, and external web services.
    • Customize Pega applications using Java, SQL, REST, SOAP, and other technologies as required.
    • Handle the full integration cycle, from analysis and design to implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization:
    • Identify and troubleshoot system issues related to performance, security, and functionality.
    • Optimize Pega applications for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure that solutions are compliant with internal policies, industry regulations, and data security standards.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of Pega applications, configurations, and customizations.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • Pega LSA Certification (Lead System Architect) is a must.
  • 5+ years of experience in Pega application development with at least 2+ years in a Lead System Architect role .
  • Strong expertise in Pega 8.x (or later) with experience in case management, flow design, and Pega BPM.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pega PRPC platform, including design, rules, integration, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience in Pega Frameworks (e.g., Pega Smart Investigate, Pega Customer Service, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Java , SQL , Web Services (SOAP/REST) , and integration technologies .
  • Hands-on experience with PEGA Database Setup , Schema Design , and Performance Tuning .
  • Expertise in Pega Cloud and Pega mobile frameworks is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Pega Robotics or other RPA tools.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, specifically related to Pega deployments.
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) related to Pega.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related field.
  • Pega LSA Certification (Lead System Architect) required.
  • Any other related certifications (e.g., Pega CLSA, Pega Certified Business Architect) are a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of working with business stakeholders and managing technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
