Job Details Job Location Brooklyn Park, MN Salary Range $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly Job Category Corporate Description Summary of Position: The Payroll Clerk is responsible for reviewing and processing weekly payrolls and miscellaneous payments for multiple entities.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities: Handling weekly payroll processing (hourly & salary) Assisting with reports as needed Auditing timecards and assisting employees with inquiries. Uploading weekly 401k contribution to AUL Recording payments in AP System Employment verifications Minimum Education and Experience: Minimum one-year office administrative support experience strongly preferred HS or GED is required Paycom experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Be able to multitask with many interruptions throughout the day Excellent organizational skills and be self-motivated to complete routine tasks Must be detail-oriented Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Databases. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member, as well as independently, while adhering to strict deadlines Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
