Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Metal Processing Line Operator to join their team. As a Metal Processing Line Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Metal Processing Line Operator

Location: Elkhart, IN

Pay Range: $18.00

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate all cut line equipment (uncoiler, leveler, feeder, press/die, shear, stacker, etc.)
• Cut and level aluminum coils to customer specifications
• Inspect materials for defects and take corrective action when needed
• Perform daily safety checks and equipment inspections
• Maintain cut line schedule and track production metrics

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with sheet metal fabrication
• Coil processing experience preferred
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and geometry
• Able to read manufacturing prints and use measuring instruments
