\n Job Title: Maintenance Technician \n \nJob Description and Responsibilities:\n\n

\n\t
• Perform Basic Maintenance Skills: \n\n\t
  \n\t\t
  • Light rigging\n\t\t
  • Piping joints and gaskets\n\t\t
  • Tubing fitting (less than ¾ inch)\n\t\t
  • Operate light load lifting equipment\n\t\t
  • Valve maintenance\n\t\t
  • Use of hand tools\n\t\t
  • Basic computer skills\n\t
  \n\t\n\t
• Other Responsibilities: \n\t
  \n\t\t
  • Perform rotating equipment repairs and troubleshooting\n\t\t
  • Conduct equipment alignment and seal repairs\n\t\t
  • Adhere to all plant safety standards, policies, and procedures\n\t\t
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment as needed\n\t\t
  • Assist with new equipment installations\n\t\t
  • Execute miscellaneous mechanical, piping, and vessel entry tasks\n\t\t
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned\n\t
  \n\t\n

\n\n \nEducation, Work Experience, and Qualifications:\n\n

\n\t
1. Option 1: \n\n\t
   \n\t\t
   • High school diploma (or equivalent)\n\t\t
   • Minimum of 3 years (within the last 5 years) of work-related experience\n\t
   \n\t\n\t
2. Option 2: \n\t
   \n\t\t
   • Technical school certificate or diploma in a related field (e.g., welding, industrial maintenance, electromechanical technology)\n\t\t
   • Minimum of 2 years (within the last 5 years) of work-related experience\n\t
   \n\t\n\t
3. Successful completion of Maintenance Mechanic III requirements for at least 2 years or equivalent experience\n

\n\n

\n\t
• Experience/education must be recent (within last 5 years)\n\t
• Availability for rotating shift work and required overtime\n\t
• Willingness to participate in the fire brigade\n

\n\n \nHealth, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Requirements:\n\n

\n\t
• Perform safety audits as per the Augusta Plant audit plan\n\t
• Attend plant-wide safety and wellness sessions\n\t
• Engage in safety audits, Job Safety Analyses (JSA’s), and What-if scenarios\n\t
• Complete all required computer-based training (CBT) on time\n\t
• Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) field reviews\n\t
• Follow up on incident investigations as needed\n\t
• Maintain knowledge of plant environmental standards (ES-01 to ES-10)\n\t
• Know environmental permit limits for assigned plant areas (air, wastewater, stormwater)\n\t
• Understand Hazardous Waste Rules (RCRA) for storage, handling, sampling, transporting, manifesting, record keeping, and emergency response\n\t
• Familiarity with facility environmental plans (SPCC, Storm Water Pollution Prevention)\n
