As a highly ranked regional law firm, this opportunity offers interesting work, great prospects for career development, a collaborative working environment, and a competitive compensation package. The annual minimum billable hours target is approximately 1600. About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of employment litigation experience, with a proven track record of leading matters on their own. The role will involve handling a diverse range of litigation including single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters as well as wage and hour matters including class, collective and PAGA actions. The role also requires providing employment advice and counsel. Responsibilities: Independently manage and drive litigation cases from inception to resolution. Taking and defending key depositions and arguing motions in court. Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses. Represent employers in court, arbitration, before administrative agencies, and during mediations. Qualifications: Active membership in the California State Bar is required. Demonstrated excellence in academic performance. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and case management abilities. Minimum of 8+ years of litigation experience. Pay Range and Compensation Package: This position provides a competitive base salary range of approximately $160,000-$190,000 and a lucrative bonus structure for hours billed in excess of the minimum.
