Job Description - Human Resources Business Technology Analyst (003124) Location Downtown Seattle Organization Organizational Effectiveness Employee Status Regular Schedule Full-time Posting Expires Jan 30, 2025, 7:59:00 AM Minimum Salary 104,071.00 Maximum Salary 140,802.00 Salary offers will be made within the posted range. Placement within the range will be determined based on your similar work experience. The Port considers work experience to be similar if the scope and level of responsibility of your prior positions match the job being offered. Some of what you'll be doing: You will act as the lead system administrator of one or more third-party on-premise or Software as a Service (SaaS) systems used by Human Resources (HR). You will provide frontline functional troubleshooting for applications and ensure applications or modules are configured and maintained to meet business needs. You will consult and advise project leaders on system solutions and issues and provide functional expertise to business users and owners. You will test system patches, fixes, and system updates delivered by vendors and administer system security requirements and setup. You will collaborate with vendors, business owners, users, and other resources for system/project implementation and upgrades. You will provide user support, including creating and providing user guides, training plans, system documentation and training, and technical assistance. You will provide strategic advice on the collection, use, reporting, transmission and storing of data. You will provide advanced information retrieval and complex reports to meet regulatory compliance requirements for HR related issues. You will provide recommendations for the analysis of data and the use of data to make decisions. You will coordinate discussions on needed business process changes and ensure new or changed technologies fit smoothly within the business process. Who you are: Experienced – You have three (3) years of experience as a system administrator responsible for configuration, testing, documentation, end user support, and maintenance and upgrades for on-premise, SAAS, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software applications. Desired – We hope you have experience with PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management), SumTotal/Cornerstone LMS and/or Taleo Recruiting systems. What else you need to know: Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Work Environment - This work will take place in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management’s discretion. Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment.
