Description Director of Retail Sales Kroger General Summary: As a leading global food company, JBS seeks a dynamic individual with strong leadership and communication skills to drive sales plans and foster effective relationships across multiple business units. This role requires a proactive approach to managing customer communications, resolving issues, and supporting innovation planning by understanding and addressing customer needs. Responsibilities:Lead Sales Plans to achieve volume, invoice dollars, profit and share objectivesPartner with multiple JBS business units to support our product lines in the beef and pork spaceMeet weekly with Kroger team, acting as the main point of contact for the company, and be able to have effective relationships at multiple levels within KrogerAccountable for all customer communication related to assigned productsAbility to outline and forecast promotional and turn volumeResponsible for deduction resolution and reduction, retail analysis and reporting, customer service, transportation and claims in partnership with inside sales and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) teams Accountable for potential management of broker services, managing day to day activities, effective sales/reporting; including forecasting, promotional activities, correcting out of stocks and distribution voids, tracking and reporting competitive activities, analyzing the category mix to optimize performanceCommunicate goal performance status and corrective actions monthlyResponsible for achieving new product sell-in goals including; new item presentations, approval of sales material, ordering samples, tracking distribution sell-in, planning retailer Ads/TPRs, prioritizing consumer demand generation support, forecasting and filling ordersSupports innovation planning by communicating customers' needs to influence new product concept development, pricing and distribution goals settingAnalyze seasonal trends and consumer purchasing data to influence key business decisions including SKU rationalizationsChampions improvements in product, process and programsEmbrace, live by and encourage the Values of JBS with the team Other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree required7-10 years of Retail experience Broad exposure to multiple Customers a plus, Kroger experience a plus7-10 years of fresh meat and CPG direct sales experience preferredMicrosoft Office applications with advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and WordExcellent verbal and written skills a mustAbility to navigate individual business line focus (Multiple Business Unit personnel and Field Teams), while aligning JBS initiatives with Customer strategies and goals to win in the marketplaceProven excellence in negotiationsAbility to analyze syndicated data and provide insights.
