Job Overview Bend Commercial Glass and Door is seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Door & Hardware Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with strong mechanical aptitude and at least five years of daily experience in commercial glazing, doors, and hardware installation and repair.
You'll be working on a wide range of projects, from hollow metal doors, aluminum storefronts, and automatic door operators to interior and exterior glazing systems. What You'll Be Doing - You will be responsible for the layout, takeoff, fabrication, installation, and repair of commercial door and window systems, including:
- Hollow metal, Timely brand frames, wood, and aluminum storefront doors
- Door hardware installation and repair
- Automatic operators and automatic doors
- Interior and exterior glazing
What We're Looking For - Mandatory Qualifications:
- Must have 5+ years of experience in commercial glazing, doors, and door hardware
- Customer-facing service mindset with strong professionalism and communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Must provide own basic hand/power tools
- Demonstrated Experience Needed:
- Hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware installation
- Timely knock-down frames and lite kit cutouts
- Aluminum storefronts and entries
- Storefront door hardware installation and repair
- ADA operator installation (ANSI certification a plus)
- AAADM Certification preferred but not required

Work Schedule & Location - Full-time, Monday - Friday
- Based in Central Oregon; travel for projects will be required
