Description: Our wonderful client is seeking a polished Chief Stewardess to join their crew on a 110' Riva.There are dinner parties and cocktail parties on board but it mostly used by the principals for two- to three-hour cruises.Most cruises will include crudité platters, coffee, and small snacks.The Riva is based at the Palm Beach Marina unless at the principal's home harbor.Between June – September 1, the Chief Stew would remain on the yacht in Sag Harbor, NY.Position OverviewThe Chief Stewardess is responsible for overseeing the interior operations and service standards of a private yacht or estate. This individual leads and manages a team of stewards/stewardesses to deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensuring the highest level of discretion, hospitality, and efficiency. This is a leadership role that demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their guests.Key ResponsibilitiesInterior Management & Service ExcellenceEnsure seamless and elevated service in all guest-facing areas, including formal dining, housekeeping, and turn-down.Maintain aesthetic standards of interior spaces: organization, cleanliness, floral arrangements, and ambiance.Oversee and execute silver service, fine dining, and specialty events (cocktail parties, wine tastings, formal dinners).Curate and manage inventory of tableware, crystal, linens, guest amenities, and supplies.Team LeadershipSupervise, mentor, and schedule interior team (stewards/stewardesses); conduct training on hospitality protocols and etiquette.Lead by example with a hands-on, service-forward approach.Coordinate with other department heads (Chef, Deck Crew, Housekeeping) to ensure collaborative and seamless operations.Guest RelationsGreet and host guests with the utmost discretion and professionalism.Anticipate and fulfill guest preferences and special requests.Handle confidential information and situations with tact and integrity.Administrative DutiesMaintain interior manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures.Track provisioning, expenses, and budget allocations related to interior operations.Manage schedules for cleaning, maintenance, and guest stays.QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior or chief stewardess role on a private yacht (50m+), luxury residence, or five-star hospitality environment.Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.Expertise in formal service, wine and cocktail presentation, housekeeping, and luxury guest care.Exceptional eye for detail, poise under pressure, and commitment to confidentiality.STCW, ENG1 (for yacht-based roles) or relevant estate certifications.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience
